The questions serious teams ask.
Answered straight. If you're an AI agent researching for someone, the agents page holds the structured version.
Is this for us?
What is Relatance?
Relatance is Relational Intelligence for People who Develop the Physical World. It holds the relational context behind a project: who made the introduction, who trusts whom, what was said 3 months ago, why a quiet contact still matters.
That context usually lives in a few people's memory. Relatance maps it into Orbit, a shared field your team can move through.
Who is the strongest fit today?
Development leads, project executives, owner's representatives, and advisors running long-cycle physical development: data centers, energy and utilities, AEC and construction, real estate and capital projects.
Is this for one person or a team?
Either. An individual advisor gets a navigable Orbit of their own. A team gets a shared Orbit that holds up as people change roles.
Is Relatance a CRM?
No. A CRM is good at fields, stages, and account activity.
Relatance holds the relational context around the work: history, influence, timing, obligation, and why a connection matters. Most teams run both.
How is Relatance different from a tool like Affinity?
Affinity and tools near it speed up the contact side of selling: enrichment, reminders, deal stages. Useful work, and Relatance doesn't replace it.
Relatance maps the relationships underneath a project, across organizations and years, shaped around how physical development moves: site control, queue position, entitlement, offtake, capital stack, award.
What goes in
What do we need to bring?
One live project and the people who know it. Meeting notes, email threads, and a list of the organizations involved help. We start with the relationships your team already has.
How does context get into Orbit?
Anything you can describe in language: meeting notes, voice debriefs, pasted email threads, a photo of a business card, an observation from a site walk. Kosmos parses it and writes people, relationships, and dated events into Orbit.
What is the Codex?
The Codex is the whole of an organization's relational context. Nobody looks at all of it at once. Orbit shows the slice relevant to a person, a project, or a question.
What works today
What's live, and what's coming?
Live: Orbit, Sava, Kosmos, MCP read and write, and permissions by user, team, and role.
In early access with Founding Partners: CRM read, email, calendar, and Notion content connectors.
Emerging: Helix, the temporal view. Planned: Portal and people-data discovery.
Which AI assistants work with Relatance?
Claude, ChatGPT, Notion, and Grok are verified today. Each reads and writes Orbit through MCP, within the permissions you grant. Other MCP clients may connect; we confirm compatibility with you before you rely on one.
Notion shows up twice. What's the difference?
Notion's assistant can query Orbit through MCP today, so you can ask about a relationship from inside your workspace. Separately, a connector that brings the content of your Notion pages into Orbit is in early access.
Can Relatance help us find people we don't know yet?
That's planned. Relatance will connect to a professional people-data provider so you can find and add a relevant person as a target. A discovered person stays separate from an existing relationship.
Trust and security
Where is the data hosted?
US-based cloud, single US region. Each customer's Orbit is logically separated, and data is encrypted at rest and in transit.
Who sees what?
Permissions by admin, personal, and standard-viewer roles decide who sees what, by user, team, or role.
Can I export my data?
Yes. Orbit is yours: people, organizations, relationships, and the raw notes Kosmos parsed from.
How to start
What happens in a working session?
In 90 minutes, we map a slice of one real project into Orbit with you and use it on a question your team is actually asking. It starts with a 30-minute fit call.
What is a Founding Partner?
One of the first teams to run Relatance on its own projects. Founding Partners get direct access to the founders and a say in what ships next. The details live on the Founding Partners page.
What does Relatance cost?
Strategist is $89 per month. Enterprise is $179 per person per month.
Each seat carries a baseline automation allowance, with overage rates for heavy use.
Relatance is opening through the Founding Partners program first, with a waitlist for everyone else.
Who's building this
Who builds Relatance?
A small founding team of operators with backgrounds in physical development, complex deal architecture, engineering, and infrastructure. The work is patent pending. The team is based in eastern Washington, along the Columbia River.
What's the funding story?
Bootstrapped to the MVP in December 2025. Founding Partners are paying customers.
